Release Day for BlankAnon!

A bright red book cover showing a pentagon surrounded by question marks, with a trench-coated silhouette in the center: BlankAnon, by Justin Robinson.Today marks the release of BlankAnon and the return of Bob Blank, the eponymous hero of Justin Robinson’s fantasy-noir satirical mystery series! First encountered in Mr. Blank and Get Blank, our narrator is up against the biggest conspiracy to hit the Information Underground — and it’s a monster he himself created.

It was just another job, or so he thought. Just one of the many strands of unlikely weirdness that circulate behind the scenes, nothing more and probably a good deal less. But it took off, took over, and broke the world, and now our hero has to find a way to save it, or at least salve his conscience. Neither outcome looks particularly plausible. But Bob Blank has worked for every conspiracy in the Information Underground, he knows where the bodies and the gods are buried, and with all that, maybe, somehow, he can pull off another miracle. Or maybe he’ll be eaten by his own spirit guide. The smart money’s on the latter.

Robinson’s trenchant satire and gonzo prose create an all-too-plausible secret universe with plenty to say about the world we live in. Out today from Candlemark & Gleam, available here and at all the usual suspects.
