Hickey of the Beast: Coverlicious!

For the past, oh, two months or so, I’ve been plugging away on the cover for Hickey of the Beast. From a few initial ideas floated by the author, we’ve been through something like 25 different ideas, and got it down to 8 or so final choices.

It is unreal how fast I can Photoshop a satanic hickey now, let me tell ya. Now if only that counted for something on my resume…

But we’re not here to talk about me and my slightly disconcerting Photoshop tendencies. We’re here to unveil the cover for Hickey of the Beast, the hilarious YA fantasy by Isabel Kunkle that will start its serial distribution right here at Candlemark & Gleam in March.

Serial distribution? What’s that, you say? More on that in the coming days. For now, feast your eyes on the cover – a spooky little confection just in time for Hallowe’en!
